Variety of modern hearing aids

Hearing Aid Brands

We will service any model of hearing aid, but recommend the following manufacturers:

Hearing Aid Styles

There is a lot that goes into selecting a hearing aid style. We are here to help you navigate through the options and select the best style and technology level for your hearing loss and daily communication needs.

RIC hearing aid

Receiver-in-the-Canal (RIC)

This is one of the most "flexible" and cosmetic hearing aids available. It provides excellent sound quality and tends to be very comfortable in the ear. It is appropriate for most types of hearing loss.

BTE hearing aid

Behind-the-Ear (BTE)

A more "traditional" looking hearing aid that is most appropriate for moderate to severe hearing losses.

IIC hearing aid

Invisible-in-the-Canal (IIC)

The smallest custom hearing aid available, which is cosmetic with custom appeal.

CIC hearing aid

Completely-in-Canal (CIC)

Also very cosmetic, but slightly larger than the IIC. It is an "easier" hearing aid for those with dexterity limitations. It is custom-made for your ear.

ITC hearing aid

In-the-Canal (ITC)

This hearing aid is designed for mild to severe hearing losses. It is slightly larger than a CIC, and utilizes a larger battery. It is custom-made for your ear.

In-the-Ear (ITE)

An ITE hearing aid is appropriate for mild to severe hearing loss. It is larger which can make physical handling easier and it can be easier to adjust. It is custom-made for your ear.

Made for iPhone hearing aid

Made-for-iPhone Hearing aids

Several manufacturers have designed hearing aids that can "pair" to your iPhone, allowing for wireless streaming of sound (phone calls, music, etc). Your iPhone can individualize your listening experience.

Hearing Aid Repairs

Hearing tests are recommended annually. As we age, our hearing loss tends to degenerate.

Hearing aids should be maintained regularly. We recommend visiting our offices for the upkeep of the hearing aids at least twice a year. Should you encounter a malfunction or broken hearing aid, feel free to call us to schedule an appointment. We will attempt to service your device(s) in-house or utilize the manufacturer warranty.

The services offered are as follows:

Repairs for instruments that are less than 5 years old and out of repair warranty

  • $250 per instrument with a 6 month warranty
  • $350 per instrument with a 12 month warranty

Repairs for instruments more than 5 years old

  • $350 per instrument with a 6 month warranty (12 month warranty not an option)
  • Some instruments over 5 years old may not be repairable due to age of the device and availability of parts
  • Remakes are $150 per instrument, plus the cost of repair
